Concealed Carry Class

Concealed Carry: This safety training class will enable participants to submit paperwork for new or renewal permits. 

For new permit submissions, this class serves as the second 8 hours of training to obtain a concealed carry (MD or DC) permit after completion of the prerequisite WAC Basic Pistol Class within the last year. 

This class also qualifies as the training requirement for new UT permits and MD or DC permit renewals (no prerequisite). The classroom session (8:00 AM - 1:00 PM) is heavily focused on the legal aspects of the use of deadly force.

Participants must pass the range qualification (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM) which assesses skills using the participant’s own firearm at 8 yards on a silhouette target including shooting with strong hand/weak hand, around a barricade and from alternate positions.

Cost $150, which includes re-qualification of the range portion, if needed.
